What to upload
ISMGenius works from two files: your draft and the task ISMG. The ISMG sets the criteria and standards your work is marked against, so add it alongside your draft and the feedback will be aligned to that specific task.
File format
Upload your draft as a PDF. If it is in Word or Google Docs, export it as a PDF before uploading.
Tips for a clean upload
- Export a text-based PDF rather than a scan of printed or handwritten pages.
- Include everything that is marked, such as appendices, references, and any figures the criteria refer to.
- Use the ISMG for that specific task, not a general subject syllabus.
If an upload fails
Check that the file is a PDF and within the size limit shown on the upload screen. If a valid PDF still will not process, export it again from the original document, then email support@ismgenius.com if it keeps happening.
