Understanding your report

How to read your report and decide what to fix first.

Criterion scores

Each criterion from your task shows the standard your draft currently reaches and the marks that go with it. Start with your lowest criterion, since that is usually where a small change moves your result the most.

The reasoning behind each score

Every score comes with the reasoning behind it: what your response already does well, and what it is missing. Read this next to your ISMG so you can see the gap between the standard you are at and the one above it.

What to do next

For each criterion you get specific, prioritised suggestions for reaching the next standard. Treat them as a checklist for your own revision; ISMGenius does not write the work for you.

Track your progress

Sign in to save your reports and re-upload as you revise, so you can watch each criterion improve between drafts. Pro accounts can re-run feedback as often as they like and change the feedback tone.

Originality checks

If you ran an originality scan, your report also highlights passages a marker might question. See AI & plagiarism detection for how to read those results.
